Very much enjoyed and learned from your December 8 Pearl Harbor presentation through the Clarendon Hills Library. The depth and detail were impressive.
My father was a Marine radar repair tech sergeant at the Okinawa Yontan airfield at the time of the May 24, 1945 Giretsu commando suicide attack there. Just wondering whether you have any knowledge of that raid, or can point me to an authoritative source for detailed information about it (other than Bill Sloan’s “The Ultimate Battle–Okinawa 1945”). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
